Our workshop in upigny
The great success of the Upignac farm meant that it rapidly became too small to house all our activities. In 1993, in response to the growing demand for foie gras and the need to meet the strict European requirements for the food sector, the company built a modern and functional workshop in Upigny, just two kilometres from the farm.
Upignac works with raw materials that have been very carefully selected from reliable suppliers. In the workshop in Upigny all the traditional production practices are carried out in the different production zones: abattoir area, cutting workshop, liver processing workshop, packaging area for raw materials, cooking area for products in jars and other prepared products, slicing and packaging workshop for finished products , order processing workshop.
The farm itself is now used exclusively for selling and sampling products.
